RE: New Community of Christ’s Faithful
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ:
I am pleased to inform you that we have a new community of Christ’s faithful duly recognized by the Holy See called CENACOLO COMMUNITY now living behind the Chapel of Saint Jude in Barangay Inmalog, San Fabian. God willing, the community plans to open a fraternity house in Ambalangan Dalin in San Fabian to help us in ministering to
young people addicted to drugs.
The Community proposes a way of community called
“school of life”, where through fraternal friendship and prayer, conscience is enlightened, freedom is recovered and availability to service is developed.
The community is present in 18 countries in the world. San Fabian will be the first community in Asia.
The pioneer community is headed by Father Adrian Crowley, an Irish priest member of the Cenacolo, with three brothers from Italy, Croatia and Slovakia.
Cenacolo is not only a place of rehabilitation and social assistance, but a place where people can be educated to freedom and hope.
It is a clear proposal of Christian experience proving that rediscovering faith in God rewards, gives dignity and beauty to the human being.
Let us pray that this apostolic initiative may bloom and grow and bear abundant fruits of renewal and hope for those who live in confusion and spiritual isolation because of drugs. Our addicted brethren need hope and love not threats and more fears. Pray for the Cenacolo Community.
Sincerely yours,
