Pananabangan Philanthropy Development Office

Dear Parish Priests, Chaplains and Pastoral Station Directors:

Greetings in the Peace of Christ.

The Archdiocese is moving forward in installing a system that will put our existing  Pananabangan program with the principles of Philanthropy in fund development as a common path of the archdiocese. 

With the levelling of what Philanthropy is and The  Pananbangan Philanthrophy Development Office and its system during our meeting last 3 May 2018 (at LFC), Pananabangan Philanthropy Development Offices shall be  put in place in the parishes of ALD. The present Parochial Board on Church Temporalities  (Cfr. Synod Articles 177-180) in your parish shall  make up the Philanthropy Development Offices due to its similar nature and functions with regard to fund development, or fund raising ventures.

There will be an  orientation seminar on 10 May 2018, Thursday at the Lay Formation Center, Bonuan Gueset, Dagupan from  8,30am to 4,00pm for the members of the  Parochial Board on Church Temporalities (PBCT).
Please also send any of your  parish personnel/staff who understands and knows how to use  Microsoft Excel. An orientation and training shall be given to them on the same date and time (10 May) at LFC. Please let him/her bring a computer/laptop.

There is a need to put a system that is sustainable, transparent and data-based in our fund development activities. The Synod has provided us with a common path. Let us move forward in making  communio not only as a gift but truly our mission.
