PROCLAMATION
Today on the occasion of the solemnity of Christ, King of the Universe,
the twenty sixth day of November
in the year of the Lord two thousand and seventeen,
When His Holiness Pope Francis is the Supreme Pontiff
of the Holy Catholic Church,
When Rodrigo Roa Duterte is the President of the Republic of the Philippines,
When Amado Espino III is the Governor of Pangasinan;
Here in the Pastoral Station under the title of Jesus the Divine Mercy,
When the Reverend Father Christian Joy Bataoil is the director of the pastoral station,
When the Reverend Father Fidelis Layog is the parish priest of Our Lady of
Purification Parish,
When the Reverend Father Fernan Estrada is the Vicar Forane of the Epiphany
of the Lord Vicariate;
The teachings and decrees of the Second Synod of Lingayen Dagupan held from
the second to the ninth day of September in the same year are hereby
promulgated as binding for the entire ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the See of
Lingayen Dagupan. By virtue of this proclamation, the clergy, men and women
in consecrated life and the lay faithful of this particular Church are now bound
by law to observe the synodal decrees, study its teachings and put them into practice.
May our Church in Lingayen Dagupan, accepting the spirit of communio as gift
and mission from the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, truly become the
Church that the Lord wills it to be, under the guidance of Mary whom we lovingly
invoke as Our Lady of Manaoag!
