RE: Month of Stewardship for Vocations
Reverend Fathers:
In order to instill among our Catholic faithful esteem and affection for the Mary Help of Christians Seminary System and to foster more vocations to the diocesan priesthood for the service of the Archdiocese of Lingayen Dagupan, we shall observe the forthcoming advent season as Month for Stewardship of Vocations.
The Oratio Imperata for Vocations must be prayed kneeling down in all weekday and Sunday Masses after Holy Communion before the Post Communion Prayer. The prayer has English, Pangasinan and Tagalog versions.
There are prepared homilies for all the four Sundays of advent based on the liturgical readings, in three languages. You can read it as a full homily or you can enhance it further according to your pastoral discretion, insuring always that the stewardship for vocations is mentioned.
Let us unite to pray for vocations and support our seminarians and seminaries.
